Space after paragraph: lines or points?
I have a document created by someone else (don't you love those?) and
the paragraph spacing is really confusing me (Format -- Paragraph -- Spacing After). In some paragraphs, the "Spacing After" is measured in points (12 points, 6 points, etc) as usual, but in other paragraphs it's measured in lines (0.5 lines, 1 line, etc). I can't figure out how to change the units to a uniform system through the whole document. Any ideas? ~Jen S. -- "Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle." |

Yep, you can type line, pt, and " (inches) - it's very handy, actually. :-)

Hello all, I fixed it by force. I typed in "12 pt" in the box that used to say "1 line" and the units are now changed. Previously I was trying to type "12" in that box, but then I would get a spacing of 12 lines! So I just had to tell it that I wanted points instead of lines. I didn't know you could do that. |
