Default Entering text and sorting help

Is there a way to setup tables in Word so when you hit enter it goes to the
next cell instead of adding a new line? Just like Excel does?

Is there a way to sort only one column in the table? I select one column
and it sorts the entire table?

Thanks in advance.

You can program the Enter key to behave like the Tab key in a protected
form--not sure about elsewhere (see “WD: How to Code ENTER Key to Move to
Next Field in Form” at http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=211219). I think
that's a wild goose chase.

But you can definitely sort just one column. In the Table | Sort dialog,
click Options and choose "Sort column only."
