Default When I open a saved visio file with a jpg the picture is not shown

When I open a saved visio file containing a jpg picture the picture is not
shown. I can select the picture and I have tried to format, bring to front,
and color commands but the picture still is not visible. This happens
everytime I either copy and paste the picture into visio or if I imports a
picture.

What am I doing wrong?

Do you see the JPG when you first copy/paste or insert it? Or is it never
showing up in the Visio drawing? Also - anything special about the JPG
file(s)? Such as - how large is it (pixels x and y). Does the same JPG
insert into a Word document okay?

Did this used to work on the computer you are using? If so, have you
installed recent updates or new software?
