go back in pivot tables
when you go back to previously created pivot tables, it won’t let you do anything to it (change fields, go to layout) apart from allowing you to trace it back to the source file (if you had it open at the same time). And when you do manage to trace it back to the source file, with the blinking dots surrounding the source data, it allows you to go forward (by clicking next) but then doesn’t let you do anything after that.
apparently there’s no other way of solving this than to recreate that pivot table from scratch. Not pleasant when you’ve got 20 pivot tables in one spreadsheet from several sources of data and all of them were corrupted. Occurs on a periodic basis |

go back in pivot tables
If you had backup files, surely this would not be a problem ?
You would just need to refresh the PTs to get the latest data. --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
