Default How do I stop my replies to email appearing in a smaller font?

When I reply to an email, the font in the reply is often much smaller than
the original.
I believe this has occurred since I upgraded to latest version of Outlook.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try Tools--Options--Mail format tab.
Under Stationery and Fonts, click Font btn. You can change the font and size
under When replying or forwarding:

No matter what I choose, the font remains the same. I also use different
stationary and no matter what I choose, I always get the the same Times New
Roman font in the same size.

I have the same problem. When starting a new message or forwarding or
replying the text and signature are tiny and unreadable. I have tried
toolsoptionsmail formatstationary and fontsfonts and set it to 12 but
the problem persists. I have rebooted and no luck. Thanks for any help, Jimbo

Default How do I stop my replies to email appearing in a smaller font?

This has bugged me for months and months now. I've altered "Settings" under
"Options" for fonts and generally get my preference for "New mail", but
clicking on a link address on a webpage will always use Calibri 11 point
(Windows default) no matter what my local preferences say. The mail page
that opens will have my default Arial font used for the header, but always
uses Calibri 11 point for body text. This is driving me crazy... no options
seem to exist for a global font rule. I want Arail 14 point used in every
occasion, but am seemingly unable to make Outlook 2007 do this. Any help
much appreciated.

I had this problem and it drove me insane before I stumbled on the answer on
office help. It is the zoom view setting that needs adjusting.

You can adjust the zoom view in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 in two ways —
by using your mouse wheel button, or from within Outlook itself.

Use a mouse wheel button to change the zoom
If you have a pointing device, such as the Microsoft IntelliMouse pointing
device, that has a wheel button, you can use the wheel button to zoom in on,
or out of, the body of a message.

Click the message body.
Press and hold CTRL while you rotate the wheel button to zoom in or out.
Use the Ribbon controls to change the zoom
The zoom level of the message view can be changed in the Ribbon, which is
part of the Microsoft Office Fluent user interface.

Click the message body.
On the Format tab, in the Zoom group, click Zoom.
In the Zoom dialog box, under Zoom to, click 100% for the default size, or
use the other options to specify a custom zoom size.

Note When the zoom view is changed, the setting is persistent on all
future messages you compose, reply to, or forward.
