Default De-Activate MS Office XP

I've installed MS Office XP on my laptop and the desktop
I use in the office. I'm now selling my laptop and want
to know how to de-activate one copy of Office (ie. get my
license back) so that I can install it on the new laptop
I'm buying.

Try as I may, I've not been able to find where this is
defined.

Thanks.

Uninstall it from the laptop and don't give the new user the disk.
