Default charts sized with window

In Excel (Office XP Professional), my charts are often,
upon reopening a file in the a.m., automatically resized
with the window. I have tried the usual--turning off
the "Sized with window" option, etc. Nothing seems to
work--except eventually, later in the day the option
appears to turn itself off??? Very strange, but a major
problem.

Does anyone know if there is a patch for this problem?

Oliver -

This might have to do with installed printers. If no printer is
installed, the chart size reverts to "sized with window." Maybe later
in the day, someone switched on the network printer and Excel returns to
the behavior you want.
