Default classic pivottable layout

How do we convince Microsoft to make it possible to change the default to
Classic? Many users prefer it, at least in my office. Can be a PITA to have
to set it for each individual pivot table or to run a macro every time.

Microsoft... if you're lurking out there, please consider this!

thank you,
I've been changing it manually I thought it would be a hidden default.
thank you for your help

You can't change the default for that pivot table option. You can
manually change it for each pivot table, or create a macro that changes
the pivot table options.

I want to know how can I set the default for the classic Pivottable layout in
version 2007. I've tried the pivottable options display tab and checked
the Classic Pivottable layout, didn't work. ~thank you
