Default Print letters 3 up

We are trying to print reply devices 3 up on an 8.5x11 (each reply is 3.67 x
8.5) using mail merge (Word 2003). On each reply we need to include variable
text (up to 3 text boxes) as well as name/address block -- so it is like
printing three different letters on a single page. We can set up each reply
separately and it does print but the spacing (up/down) will vary (address
needs to show through window envelope). It would be great if we could use
the label formatting to ensure address is in exactly the same place on each
reply but label format does not support text boxes. We've looked into
different print drivers but none offer a 3 up option only 1,2,4,8, etc. Any
suggestions? Thanks!

You could consider using an { ADVANCE } field to fix the vertical start
position of the 2nd and 3rd replies, e.g.

text and fields...
{ ADVANCE \y 252 } to move to around 3.5in down the page (you'll have to
work this out!)
{ NEXT }
text and fields...
{ ADVANCE \y 504 } to move to around 7in or so down the page (you'll have to
work this out!)
{ NEXT }
text and fields...

Thanks so much. We'll give this a try.
