Hi Lloyd ),

How do you know what the previous version was?

FWIW, Publisher 95 (Actually called Publisher for Windows 95) is version
3.0. Version 5.0 is version 98.

I'm trying the same thing and I can tell you that I'm getting the same message. I have Microsoft Windows XP and Publisher 98 and when I try to open it using Microsoft Explorer and click Properties, the window (Open With) says Recommended Programs - Microsoft Publisher for Windows 95 Version 5.0. Does this mean that I can't open it because I've upgraded to Microsoft XP and need Windows 95? How can I get past this?
