how can i add"footnotes" in the margin of a word doc?
i have seen many documents written with comments added in the margins (either
side). i have been trying to do the same. i have tried writing the main part of the document in the centre of a 3-columned table, but this ends up messing around with the margins when adding additional normal tables. are there any solutions that are easy? |

Not footnotes created by Insert | Reference | Footnote, but you can add
marginal notes; see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/MarginalText.htm -- Suzanne S.
