Create a custom show
I have a 52 slide presentation that will be distributed to a handful of sales
people. They will all be rearranging these slides to suit their specific presentating needs, but I would like to make a custom show that will dictate that slides 9-21 to always play in that sequence no matter how they reorder the slides themselves. Is there a way to do this? (I hope this makes sense) |

Create a custom show
Cindy
A custom show will always play in the order it was made. You must use a hyperlink to the show though rather than just a normal click. Maybe if you explained exactly what you want to happen. -- Amazing PPT Hints, Tips and Tutorials-http://www.PPTAlchemy.co.uk http://www.technologytrish.co.uk/ppttipshome.html email john AT technologytrish.co.uk "Cindy" wrote: I have a 52 slide presentation that will be distributed to a handful of sales people. Create a custom show
Hi John,
Hmmm... lets see if I can explain this simply. I want one section of slides to always play together, no matter how the presenter rearranges the slides. So say I have 10 slides, but I always want slides 4,5 & 6 to present squentially. So I give "Joe" the file and he rearranges the slides to show up as: 9,8,1,2,10,5,7,4,6. Is there a way to keep those slides (4,5 &6) presenting together regardless of how he has set them up? I have a feeling there isn't because the variable here is that I will never know how these guys are going to rearrage their slides. Create a custom show
Cindy,
Custom shows are mapped using their slide IDs which is a unique value. As long as the user drags and drops or cut/paste the slides to move them around within the presentation, the ids don't change. So there shouldn't be a problem. Copy/Paste would create a problem since it would assign new IDs to the pasted slides. -- Regards, Shyam Pillai Image Importer Wizard http://skp.mvps.org/iiw.htm "Cindy" wrote in message ...
