Default Lost password for OE

I'm the only user of this computer.

I've either forgotten the password (one letter) or there's a glitch. How
can I start over? Are any of the password hacking programs useful in this
instance.

TIA

Password to get into an OE identity or a password for an email account?
If the former, open OE, create a new identity and import everything from
the password protected identity. If the latter, call your ISP who you
pay for your email account.

The OE logon password, or an identity password?

For the logon password:

Your ISP should be able to tell you, or see this site for a tool to retrieve
your e-mail account password:
http://www.nirsoft.net/

For an identity password:

Or:

One letter password? Depending upon your language, it is just your
alphabet count away from finding it, yes? A...B...C... Or double, to
allow for case, yes? a...b...c...
