Combining tables
I was getting the generic "sorry, can't do that" error when
I tried to import several Excel worksheets into 1 Access table, so I brought them over as separate tables. How can I combine them now into one table? I'd rather do that than use a query to pull them all together. |

Combining tables
I would create one new local table, then run append
queries to add each of the excel worksheets to the one new table. -----Original Message----- I was getting the generic "sorry, can't do that" error when I tried to import several Excel worksheets into 1 Access table, so I brought them over as separate tables. Combining tables
Doh! Sorry - Monday morning and all. And I normally shy
from action queries, which is why an append didn't occur to me. -----Original Message----- I would create one new local table, then run append queries to add each of the excel worksheets to the one new table. -----Original Message----- I was getting the generic "sorry, can't do that" error when I tried to import several Excel worksheets into 1 Access table, so I brought them over as separate tables.
