Default Why is one day on my calendar a different color?

I have assigned colors to categories. I haved one continuing event for
August 3rd, which is colored purple. Outlook has colored that entire day in
my calendar as purple. On no other day has this occurred, and I have other
continuing events on other days in this same color. This is in Office 2007.

It's an all day event that is marked busy.
