Default Outlook Contacts... How do you transfer to New install

The best and easy method is to do an export to a [.cvs] file. it can also be used as a backup too.
Goto File | Import and Export | Export to a file | comma separarted values (Windows)

Make sure that you keep tract of the Folder\File name. [C:\My Documents\Outlook\contacts.csv]

Just got a new puter and new outlook installed.

Anyone know an easy way to transfer your existing contact
list to new system?

Thanks

Not good advice.
Never change file formats when you don't have to.
