Default Slow text entry

Hi, After opening my word document, it starts getting
really slow after a short while after opening it. I type
letters into the document and they won't appear right
away. The same thing happens when I try to delete
characters. They won't delete right away. The file is 374
KB in size. I was told it may be the size of the file. Any
suggestions. Thank you so much.

At the risk of missing this one, it probably has more to
do with the feastures for spell checking or grammer
checking. If you are on a relatively slow computer and
these features are enabled to "correct as you type" the
application is probably spending processor time checking
rather than presenting the typed characters. It may have
to do with a network if your dictionary is located across
a slow network on a remote drive or something.
Hope this helps.

This can be caused by Norton Anti Virus (uncheck the Office Add-in in NAV
Advanced options), out of date graphics card driver, out of date printer
driver, speech recognition is active or a third party app or add-in that is
eating up resources (use the Task Manager to see what else is running and
active whilst your are editing your doc.

This does not have anything to do with the size of your file (at this size).
374 KB is a relatively small Word file.
