I have created a small single table db using access saved as 2000-2003. I
have created the form and am sharing it across a network with 2 other people in my workgroup. When we log into the for it ask for us to, "Enter Parameter Value" for 4 of the fields. I believe this to have to do with a query but I would like to know how to shut this down so we do not have to do anything with these eveytime we access the db. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

Is the form based on a query? Did you split your database into a front and
back end? If you have a back end that the form or query uses, then make sure you have updated your linked tables. If not then make sure all the names of columns forms source match the columns in your table. With a little more information we could fix this problem easily. -- Please remember to mark this post as answered if this solves your problem. Ryan,
Thanks for the response. I did not split the db but I did change the names on the fields/columns and edited my form afterward. I created the db in access 2007 and had to save it in the 2003 format for my co-waorked with older PC's. I sued the design view of the form to drag the desired fields into the form. Hope this helps. The next thing I would try is to add a query with all the columns in the
table and base the form off the query. This is just good practice anyways, because with a query you can add extra columns for calculations, expressions and other things. Let me know if the form works if its record source is a query. -- Please remember to mark this post as answered if this solves your problem. "James" wrote: Ryan, Thanks for the response. Thanks Ryan, I'll give that a shot as I would like to calculate some of the
fields. "Ryan" wrote: The next thing I would try is to add a query with all the columns in the table and base the form off the query.
