Default Header Help...again!

No matter what I do nothing seems to be working. Even
though I am in the second section or any other non-first
section, the "Same as previous" button continues to be
dimmed. Can anyone help me. If possible tell me step-by-
step what I should do right from inserting the page
breaks to inserting the header.

By the way, does the Header toolbar remain active and
visible only when the header or footer is being edited?

Pls help.

Are you sure you inserted SECTION breaks, not PAGE breaks?

I suspect you haven't actually inserted *section* breaks. Use Insert | Break
| Next page (under "Section break types"). When you have more than one
section in the document, the Show Previous and Show Next buttons on the
Header and Footer toolbar will be active, and the Header pane will say
Header -Section 1- or Header -Section 2- or the like. For more information,
see http://home.earthlink.net/~wordfaqs/HeaderFooter.htm
