Default Page Setup Margins on a Form

I have a form that is set to have a 1/2 " border all the way around. It
prints to a laser printer that can easily handle this border. Upon closing
the database and reopening, the margins revert back to 1" all the way around.
I have tried changing this in design view and saving it - but it keeps
changing back.

I looked up the PrtMip property but I couldn't figure out how to make that
work in a form.

I going to suggest that you create a report that looks like, and has the
data on the screen.

You can print a form...but it only a quick solution. If you start needing
layout stuff..then use a report.

You can make the report print ONLY the current record you are view with the
following code behind a button

me.Refresh
docmd.OpenReport "myreport",,,"id = " & me.id

With a report, you can set the margins, page heading, page numbers etc...and
all those settings will be remembered.

Thanks. Now that you mention it, I have used the report method in the past.
I thought that was an unnecessary step, but it might be necessary after all.
Either I will reformat my page to 1" borders or I will do what you suggest.
