Default Records Hiding When Using Command Button

I have a command button on a form to delete an individual
record. When the user hits escape I have a custom message
that appears that tells them that the record will not be
deleted however all the records that were below the one
the user was going to delete but backed out of by hitting
escape appear to hide and will not appear until the form
is closed and reopened. Thanks in advance and happy
weekend.

Requery worked perfectly. I placed the command ahead of
the custom message and under it and now the form does not
appear to try to delete all of the records after the one
the user attempted to delete. Thank you.
