Default Breaking a wide report into several pages

Currently, I have a report that prints out on three pages due to its width
(*). The users want the data to be put onto three pages with the correct
page numbers. Is there a way to do this in Microsoft Access (specifically
version 2003)? I have been searching on the Intranet and I do not see any
assistance on this matter.

(*) I would like to break up the page header and detail sections to three
pages with pages numbering added to each page. So each record will have
items on each of the three pages (plus a header).

Add a page break control to your report (in the Access tool box) at
appropriate places. Then narrow the report width to the standard width, and
place controls vertically to represent the pages you want. Add a page
header as necessary.

I tried that but it separated each detail record into one page. How can I
get all detail records on one page (so I would have two pages rather than six
that I have now - there are three records that are retrieved based on my
criteria)?

Thank you for your help.
