Blank Pages at the beginning of Parent Report with 5 child or sub reports
I have been searching for a way to fix this problem and to this point have
found nothing that will fix it. I have two Reports that contain 5 child or sub reports. The two reports in question were designed in an Access 97 version database and have been in use for the last few years. The reports have always had the bug of the first page of either report is blank with just the page footer showing up and all other pages print fine and no missing data. We have upgraded the database to 2002 and open it also in 2003 but not converted to 2003. One of the reports is now 444 pages and it has199 blank pages with page 200 - 444 showing the correct data. The other report now has 336 pages and it has 18 blank pages with page 19 - 336 showing the correct data. No other problems. We have not modified the report or the subreports. Nor have the queries suppling the data been changed. I have tried all the suggestions I found in my search - Can Grow and Can Shrink set to yes on the child reports, the object widths of the child reports are enough to allow for the information to print within the margins. I have tried rebuilding it, and still get the same outcome. I can not figure out what has happened or changed from the upgrade. I am not sure what is causing the blank pages in the front of the report. I can find no page breaks and the detail section of the Main report has the Force New Page option set to "after section". Any suggestions or directions would be most appreciated. Thanks |

Please disregard this post - I found that the error lied within the filters
for the reports. I am sorry to post a a cry for help that was a false alarm. Thank you. "Cyndy Sheehan" wrote in message ... Help! I have 14 pages in a worksheet, pages 8-14 are blank and print that way. How can I delete only the blank pages? I tried delete worksheet and it deleted the whole thing. | Peggy | New Users | 2 | April 28th, 2004 09:20 PM |
