Default Loss Of The Views Bar

....Which is an invaluable feature and should not be consigned to the
developers' garbage can. [Yes, that's a euphemism.]

Foldes will call this "trolling"...

I call it kicking the developers in their collective rear end and getting
them to restore it.

WLM doesn't have a Views Bar, the selection bar that allows rapid
switching between "Show All Messages" and "Hide Read Messages".

I have a "views" BAR in my WLM that is similar to the one in OE.
Doesn't everyone have this?

The loss of the Views Bar, so useful in OE, in WLM is a
serious omission.

It provided Great Convenience as well as Elegant Simplicity
and should never have been done away with.

This is another serious error demonstrating Basic Technical &
Managerial Incompetence in the WLM design teams.

The Views Bar should be immediately restored in the very next
build of WLM.

Would you please stop cross-posting? That is an issue for WLM only and not
for the other NGs.

OE had separator bars on the Toolbar to group icons.
WLM does not have a separator bar.
What do you have?

Undoubtedly, I have totally misinterpreted Gary's posting.

All I know is that I can view 5 or 6 messages and if I highlight
one, the messages appears below the horizontal "bar" and I can
scroll down to read it or doubleclick it to open in full screen
view. This is somewhat like OEs "preview" mode.

Thanks Ron...I really appreciate the reply and the graphic. In OE I just leave that bar on "Show All Messages" and then uncheck it in the layout...works for me.

Nope...

Some of us use all FOUR MS products -- IE6, O, OE6 and WLM.

So we are interested in evaluating the ***comparative advantages and
disadvantages*** of all FOUR products -- as we make decisions about daily
usage of each.

Ergo these newsgroups are relevant and on-topic.
