Default Object could not be found

Whenever I try to insert a contact in an email (insert--object) I get an
error that the "object could not be found". I deleted the frmcache.dat, but
that did not seem to resolve the issue. Any ideas?

If you use Insert-Item, does it work?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Jess asked:
