Default Getting a left margin to behave like a header or footer

Good morning.

Our letterhead lists our products along the left margin, and i'd like them
to be "cemented" on, like they would if they appeared in the header or
footer, but can't figure out how to do that. Any suggestions?

A header or footer can be anywhere on the page. Open the header view and
insert a (borderless?) text box in the left margin to take your margin text
then close the header view.
