Word 2003: Text wraps to new line 1" prior to margin. Why?
Suddenly today when I type text on a new document, the text wraps
approximately one inch prior to reaching the margin...on all lines whether the word is a long or short one. Why is it suddenly doing this? A different document that I worked on yesterday is fine. Help. |

Word 2003: Text wraps to new line 1" prior to margin. Why?
Perhaps the paragraph has a right indent?

Sounds like somehow you have a right indent applied to the paragraphs. Go to
Format - Paragraph and see what the indents look like. If there's a right indent, set it to 0". If this happens with every new document, you've probably got a messed up Normal template. Go to http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm and check how to clean up the template. Jerry,
Thanks for the help. There was no right indent set but it appears my Normal Template was the somehow corrupt. Using the link you provided I was able to resolve the issue. I ended up locating and renaming the Normal.dot file and then when I re-launched Word it apparently created a new Normal.dot file that is the same as the original file when the software was new. It now seems to work properly. Thank you again! dkents "Jerry" wrote: Sounds like somehow you have a right indent applied to the paragraphs.
