Use the On Format event of the report section where the AS400 text control is located. (ex. OnFormat for DetailSection) text box "linked" to AS400... I think you mean "named" AS400? I'll assume by... AS400 "empty"... you mean Null. Locate an unbound text control named AS400YesNo in that same section.
