Default Installing MS Office Small Business when I already have Outlook, W

My computer came with a trial version of Office Home & Student which I did
not activate. Instead I bought a version that had Outlook, Word & Excel + a
trial of Office Professional. I then decided to buy Office Small business.
Can I install all of Small Business over what I have, should I uninstall
everything & install Small Business? Can I just install the parts of Small
business that I want - Publisher & Power Point? If I remove the current
Outlook & reinstall all of Small business will I have to re-import all my
contacts & calendar or is it saved somewhere?
What is the correct way to do this?

Uninstall everything and start from scratch.

That's what I thought you would say!!! So I won't have to re-import my
address book after I do that?

I'm honestly not sure but I would *strongly* recommend you back it up as
well as archive any emails you want to keep. They should be fine but just in
case Mucrphy's Law kicks in...

Default Installing MS Office Small Business when I already have Outloo

Thanks, JoAnn.
I uninstalled the trial of Home & Student, the Activation assistant, & the
Office professional. Then I installed the new Office 2007 Small Business.
All my contacts & calendar reappeared as well as all my settings. However,
the Business Contact Manager would not install (don't know if I need it
anyway), and every time I open Outlook it says Outlook wasn't closed properly
the last time & Microsoft is checking the files. It then checks files for
about 5 minutes & I can go about my business. But the next time I open
Outlook it happens again. I can use Outlook while it is checking, but it
shouldn't be doing that. HELP!!

Since that's a different problem, try starting a new thread with an
applicable subject line. Hopefully someone will be able to help you. (I'm
sorry I can't.)
