Office 2003 Failed OGA Can I install new Office 2007 over it?
Please can you help. My Office 2003 has failed its OGA so I have purchased a
new copy of Office 2007. Do I have to unistall Office 2003 first to avoid any OGA issues or can I just install Office 2007 over it to keep all my preferences and settings intact? |

If you have an "illegal" version of Office I would strongly recommend uninstalling it totally before installing your retail version of Office 2007. Data is normally not lost but you may want to save the outlook data file (.pst) otherwise what are you worried about losing? Any add-ins would have to be reapplied once the bad version is uninstalled. That way you can avoid any possible issues. |
