Default single spacing footnotes

I've imported some Word files from WordPerfect. The footnotes are sometimes
single space (which is what I want) and sometimes double spaced. How can I
make them all single spaced?
Thanks.

Make sure that the Footnote Text style is single-spaced and that this style
is applied to all the footnotes.
