Default Bold format for new text

I have a table with 3 columns. What code can I use to force any new text
typed into column 2 to be formatted in Bold (leaving the existing text as is).

TIA,
David

Sorry for the multiple posts, but after posts 1 and 2, I got an error message
saying that the posts didn't go through and try again later. Can you believe
anything you read?
