You can either:
Play the music while you're recording your narration or link the sound files http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894266 Of course, this means you have to keep the sound files with the presentation: http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00155.htm -- Thanks, Glenna Shaw Microsoft PowerPoint MVP Team http://www.pptmagic.com "RealInfo" wrote: Hi all How do I add background music to my own voice while adding it to the presentation ? There's nothing in PPT itself to help with this, but I think you could plug a music source into the Line In jack on your PC, adjust volumes using the system mixer and play the music while you record your narration. If you use PPT's record narration feature for this, the music will stop between slides just as your narration does. If exact timing isn't critical, it might be better to record your narration and the music bed as a single sound file (Audacity is a nice free app to do this sort of thing with). Then insert the sound on the first slide, set it to run for the entire presentation and finally adjust your slide timings to synch (approximately) to the narration. Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it) http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00047.htm ============================== PPT Frequently Asked Questions http://www.pptfaq.com/ PPTools add-ins for PowerPoint http://www.pptools.com/ |
