Excel 2002 does not recalculate existing formulas
Excel 2002 running on Windows 2000, does not recalculate
those cells that are dependent on other cells that contain changed values. 10 20 30 0 60 (formula =sum(A11) changed to: 10 20 30 10 60 (formula =sum(A11) pressed enter after changing 0 to 10, but did not recalculate. Formula is only recalculated after SAVE or if focus is put inside formula & press enter. |

Excel 2002 does not recalculate existing formulas
Natasha,
I am having the same problem. My formulas were working fine until I protected the worksheet. From that point on they would not recalculate automatically although the ToolOptionsCalculations was set to Automatic. I had to focus on it and press return as well. I removed the protection but the problem still exists. Sorry I'm not offering a solution, but am sharing your pain! -----Original Message----- Excel 2002 running on Windows 2000, does not recalculate those cells that are dependent on other cells that contain changed values. 10 20 30 0 60 (formula =sum(A11) changed to: 10 20 30 10 60 (formula =sum(A11) pressed enter after changing 0 to 10, but did not recalculate. Excel 2002 does not recalculate existing formulas
Have just had a look at Charles' website
www.DecisionModels.com and used Ctrl & Alt & F9 to do a full re-calculation. Now whenever I change some cell information it is updating the relevant formulae.
