change currency symbol
my data property of my amount field is currency. when i query the sum of the

The currency format gets it's symbol from whatever currency has been set up in the computer's Windows regional settings. You can omit it if you wish. Set the control's Format property to: #,##0.00 If you would like to display a different symbol, such as perhaps the Euro, you could set the Format property to: ¤#,##0.00 To get the Euro symbol press Alt + 0128 (using the Number keypad).
