Default print in black

Hi,
I'm using word 2003 and can't print in black. All the print cartridges are
full and I've cleaned everything in the printer. I can print black test
from a photo program but not in balck from word. I can print in every other
color! If anyone has an idea I would love to hear it.
Thanks,
Alice

You need to wait more than 6 minutes for a response - and posting the same
question more than once is not a good idea.

Is it anything that's black, including graphics, or just text?

Just text. Sorry but the first time I posted it said it didn't go through.
Thanks,
Alice

Is your text underlined with dots?

I can barely read the text. I guess you could say that there are dots!
Thanks,
Alice

I'm talking about the document on your screen, not the paper.
