scroll you mouse in-between columns. when your curser turns to a line with
two arrows pointing away, double-click. the column will automatically adjust
to fit the largest date in the set.

you could apply this format to your entire column

So on a number field when there is not enough room to put the data in it puts
up ##'s!, thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!
