Hi I am useing Microsoft office 2000 Premium. all the rest of the office
works fine. And I was useing Outlook 2000 on my old system. I will load once
installed but will not let me use contacts or calender etc. I think it is
something to do with e-mail sharing, although I do not want to use for e-mail.
Regards

OK, you've answered my "version" question. Now how about stating what
you've tried so far? What, if any, errors do you see? What are your
account settings? You have to share at least a few symptoms if you want
people to help.

OK Outlook tells me I have no account or files. I cannot use e-mail, I cannot
use contacts, I have nothing that works in outlook. I have removed it and
reinstalled it, still no account or files, so I have removed it yet again. I
do use Outlook Express for my e-mail etc. What I think is happening is that
this new PC has deleated file sharing with Outlook?

Outlook and Outlook Express don't share data.

Hi Many thanks for info so far, please don't give up on me yet. The last
page looks interesting. So I have just reinstalled the full Office 2000
Premium. When the first disc was almost finnished it stoped and gave me this
dropdown - [unable to access configuration for Microsoft personal web server]
Is this the problem? and if so how do I fix it?

Ps I have just opened Outlook and this came up! Networks problems are
preventing connection to the Microsoft exchange server computer contact your
system administrator if this condition persists. What is this?

Outlook believes you want to connect to an Exchange server. Open the Mail
applet in Control Panel, remove the Exchange service and add in the Internet
Mail service. Define your mail account there.
