Default Create Distribution List from Excel Sheet

Hi all,

I have a list of names in an Excel sheet from which I need to make a
distribution list for e-mailing.

Is there some relatively easy way to import that list of names into an OE6
distribution list besides manually copying/pasting each e-mail address into
the OE6 Address Book?

Thanks.

Alan

Hi again,

I found an article at
http://forums.techguy.org/archive-we...t-records.html
that worked very nicely.

Thanks anyway.

Hi Alan,

If you look at your import options for Other Address Book in Outlook
Express you will notice it can import a Text File (Comma separated Values)
..csv file.

Save your Excel file in such a format to import.

Hi Ken and PA Bear,

Ken, basically, that's what I did when I used the procedure that I mentioned
above in the article at
http://forums.techguy.org/archive-we...t-records.html

It was the mapping that confused me a bit when I had to Import the CSV, but
by trying the tip in the article, it went very smoothly.

Thanks to both of you for your responses.
