I have got 2 spreadsheets and i want to insert 1
spreadsheet as a object in the other. However when i insert the spreadsheet it inserts the spreadsheet along with a number of empty rows and columns, i have checked to make sure there are no text, formatting, borders applied to the 'empty' cells. Any ideas would be great. Thanks in advance Michael |

However when i insert the spreadsheet it inserts the spreadsheet along with a number of empty rows and columns The inserted object will, I think, be an Excel Workbook. Its worksheet(s) will have a full complement of 256 columns and 65536 rows. You may only be able to see some of those rows and columns in the representation of the object that you see on the sheet into which you inserted it. If you just want to be able to see a section of another worksheet but not be able to change it then creating a linked picture is probably the best option. Edit / Copy the area you want to see Select where you want the picture Shift+Edit / Paste Picture Link Bill Manville MVP - Microsoft Excel, Oxford, England No email replies please - respond to newsgroup |
