Append crosstab result to a table
You should be able to base an append query on a saved crosstab query.

Append crosstab result to a table
Duane,
Thanks. The keyword is SAVED, isn't it. Like a real dummy I was trying to modify the crosstab query by changing its type, instead of specifying it as the source in a select query then modifying that to an append type. And I almost had the entire procedure modeled in vbasic with DAO recordsets..... -- Mike "Duane Hookom" wrote: You should be able to base an append query on a saved crosstab query. -- Duane Hookom Microsoft Access MVP "crafty" wrote: have following data: 1234 fred client 1234 tom owner 1235 ralph client 1235 bill owner crosstab query result: 1234 fred tom 1235 ralph bill I want to append this data to an existing table with fields: number, client, owner Making an append query from the crosstab query does not seem to work...
