Default "What If" Scenarios - Overlay an existing process flow?

Is there a way to overlay an existing Visio process flow with a proposed
alternative process?

For example, I have one flow but I want to show if we incorporate a new
product line into the process, how that process might be modified?

Visio does not support this. Checkout EventStudio 2.5, it supports
process flow generation with easy definition of multiple scenarios.

Ummm, can we dispense with the obvious advertising you keep doing here? You
seem awfully quick in asserting that something can't be done and steering
folks to buy YOUR product. Personally I find that quite tacky, and would
never consider buying a product, no matter how good it is, from any company
that endorses such tactics.

To answer his question, there is a way to do this. Create three layers.
One with the process functions that are common to the two scenarios. Layer
two and three would have the process steps not common to the two scenarios.
One with the new product, and one without.

You'd have layer one ALWAYS on and then select layer 2 or layer 3 as
required.
