Installer runs for each user - how to eliminate it
Office 2000, XP
Windows XP Pro, SP2 I have a computer lab where multiple users log in. Is there a switch or GPO option that would keep each individual user from having to run the installer for their log in? TIA |

Hi dsb,
If you are refering the installer that runs on the first time a user opend any office 2000 application, then NO, you cant bypass this. If you have an issue that it requires this every login, or every time you start any of the office application, hten you have a probkem with the users profile and how you deployed Office. Take care, Arie "dsb" wrote: Office 2000, XP Windows XP Pro, SP2 I have a computer lab where multiple users log in.
