the left side of this window I see "Shared Contacts" and "Main Identity Contacts" If I expand the Main Identity Contacts, I see the group name. You had the reason why the group names are not showing in the right pane.
"When I click on the group name in the left pane, the names do not show up in the right pane. Is this because they are not part of the main contacts?" The group addresses must be in the same contacts folder with the group name in the Address Book. To add the group names to the Address Book without typing: start a new message, select the group for the To field, save the messages to Drafts, open the message in Drafts, right click on an address, Add to Address Book, Ok, repeat You can create a comma separated value file and import the names. http://home.earthlink.net/~kuaytim/exportwab.htm#create -- Ron Sommer "Nittany77" wrote in message ... : When I click on "Show all contents" another address book window opens. Hi Nittany77,
Via your query I just learned something new. Like you previously said "When I click on the group name in the left pane, the names do not show up in the right pane. Is this because they are not part of the main contacts?" I set up a group with names that are NOT a contact in either main or shared contacts and I see the same as you describe. I like Rons suggestion on how to add this group of names to the Address Book without typing. Thanks, Ken "Nittany77" wrote in message ... | When I click on "Show all contents" another address book window opens. That method does work, but brings up another question. I don't really want
all of these addresses in the main address book, can I make another address book just for these email addresses? "Ken" wrote: Hi Nittany77, Via your query I just learned something new. You could create another folder in your address book and put these contacts
in it. Another way would be to create another Identity. Ken "Nittany77" wrote in message ... | That method does work, but brings up another question.
