Ever since i installed ie 7 when I go to open the first email I get a
delay
and a second arrow on the taskbar like something is scanning or
downloading
almost like outlook is not syncronized with IE 7 and once that is done
outlook works correctly any fix .. thanks

Sorry that did not fix my problem.. any more idea's or should I just
uninstall IE7

If you uninstall IE7 (which automatically returns you to IE6), does this
behavior persist?

You may have a horked install of IE7. I suggest reading the following

Sandi's notes on "IE7 Gold", including Installation Tips

....and then uninstalling and reinstalling IE7 per Sandi's Best Practices
tips.
