hyperlink help

i have mad a who wants to be a millionair game for a study reference and i
need to know if i can set up a hyperlink that will go to a random set of
slides instead of only to one slide then to the next. so what i am getting at
is how do i randomize the game so when i hit play it is not just one set of
questions cause i have over 200 questions but only know how to set up 15 of
them. and also once i save the game and quit once i re-open the slideshow all
my hyperlinks dissappear. can some one help.

You ask a lot of questions. It seems like the most important one is that
all your hyperlinks disappear when you quit, but I'm not sure why that
is happening. You should mention the version of PowerPoint you are
using. I don't think this applies in 2007, but in earlier versions,
there is a limit to the amount of hyperlink storage space. However,
usually, that doesn't make all the links disappear, but some disappear
while others end up pointing to the wrong place. You might check out

Now, to your other problems. You might do well to search for a template,
rather than creating your own. I'm sure there are many Who Wants to be a
Millionaire templates that your favorite search engine can find.
However, if you want to do it yourself and if you want to be able to ask
random questions, you are going have to think about VBA. My site
(http://www.PowerfulPowerPoint.com/) has some examples that ask random
questions (click on Examples by Chapter and Chapter 8 and look at the
later examples). These aren't in the format of the Who Wants to be a
Millionaire game, but they might point you in the right direction if you
are going to code some VBA. Alternatively, you might find that some of
the examples might just serve your purpose, and you can modify the
slides and add your own with little or no change in the VBA code.
