Default Column order chages when data is imported from Excel

Hi

I have an Excel file with some data. When I select to import that data into
table in Access (2007) the column order changes.
Example:
data in excel - order no; date; description; value; currency
after import - order no; date; description; currency; value

How can I prevent Access from changing order of columns? In Access 2003 I
didn't have such problem with the same data.

Thanks for any help

Igor

I can't answer your question but I have one for you: why does it matter?
If you import your Excel data into a table then you can include it in a
query and have the columns in any order you like. Will that not do?

Keith.
