Default Pivot Table 'Metadata'

When a pivot table is setup (add column & row headers, set data), the values
appear to get saved 'behind the scenes' such that when the query is again
opened in Pivot Table view, the same setup exists. This leads me to believe
that there is some 'metadata' saved somewhere to facilitate this, much like
the way the last filter is saved when you close a table/query.

Anyone know where this is saved?

Thanks,

Steve Clark
