Version of Outlook and Windows? (Fairly pertinent, don't you think?)

You haven't provided your version of Outlook or type of mail account. This
information is critical to trouble-shooting.

Common password issues and solutions can be found here;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/pas...remembered.htm

If none of them apply to your situation, then you'll have to tell us what
"your situation" is.

I have exact same issue--Windows 7 (RC1) and Outlook 2007. When I
manually "Send/Receive" everything works fine. Not sure if this is
ATT/Yahoo problem, or Outlook.

Please advise.

It may be a Windows problem and Robert's cited page should help.

I have a similar situation with Outlook 2007 cache mode running under Windows
7. We are currently testing Windows 7 using both the RC and RTM builds with
at least Outlook 2007 SP2. Mail is hosted on our Exchange 2007 Sp1 RU6
environment (2 CCR clusters, 2 HT and 2 CA). We have two situations where we
are prompted for credentials. Both can occur on a given Windows 7:
- Once for each connection found in the connection status window (1 or 2
connections to the CCR, 1 connection to PF server and 1 connection to our
Global Catalog Server) The user is then able to use Outlook
- Continually prompted to connect to the users CCR. The user is unable to
send/receive successfully. In most cases, the user account is locked out.
We have demonstrated the user is using the correct password, buy copy and
pasting the password.

We do not have this issue running Outlook 2007 under either WinXP (~4000
users) or Vista (~150 users).
