Default How to make a shortcut on desktop to specific Public Folders?

Have been unable to figure out how to make a shortcut on my desktop for
several specific Public Folders , was able to do this with previous versions
of Outlook but not Outlook 2007. Would appreciate any ideas

Still possible but it requires a registry tweak.
